Let me share an official comment about a hot topic: **BREAKING: Node.js just dropped its OWN security bombshell.**

## The Virto Commerce platform is not affected at runtime

**✅The Virto Commerce platform is not affected at runtime.** Our backend runs on .NET 10 (LTS), so these Node.js vulnerabilities don’t reach production.

🔗 .NET support policy: [.NET and .NET Core official support policy | .NET](https://dotnet.microsoft.com/platform/support/policy/dotnet-core "https://dotnet.microsoft.com/platform/support/policy/dotnet-core")

## But check your build pipelines

Node.js is still used at build time to compile the Virto Frontend and the admin UI.

## Good practice:

Update Node.js on your CI/CD build agents to the latest patched release
