Stable release 12. What’s inside

:1st_place_medal:Environments comparison module first release

The Environments Comparison module has been introduced to enable backend administrators to compare platform settings, environment configurations, and system information across multiple Virto Commerce environments (development, staging, production, etc.). This module helps identify configuration discrepancies, troubleshoot environment-specific issues, and ensure consistency across deployments:

Compating environments

Support for multicolor product variations. Frontend 2.37.0

Product variations now support up to four color attributes, allowing category managers to define multicolor combinations. The Frontend can display these variations as text labels and color thumbnails, improving product presentation and selection:

Configuring multicolored products

Improved product sidebar. Frontend 2.37.0

The product sidebar has been enhanced to improve accessibility (a11y), providing better support for assistive technologies and a more inclusive user experience:

Search dropdown extended. Frontend 2.36.0

The search dropdown has been updated with a more modern, user-friendly design, making it easier to add products to the cart directly from search results:

Credit card details entry on a single checkout page. Payment 3.812.0 + xCart 3.951.0 + CyberSource 3.803.0

Customers can now securely enter their credit card details directly on the checkout page, enabling a smoother purchase experience:

Targeting attributes support extended to externally loaded pages. Builder.io 3.807.0

Targeting attributes are now applied to pages loaded from external sources. Previously, targeting was supported only for locally defined pages. This update ensures consistent targeting behavior across all page types, regardless of where the page data originates.

Improved Swagger schema for file uploads. Platform 3.919.0 + Assets 3.816.0 + Content 3.835.0 + File xAPI 3.907.0

The REST API has been updated to use modern .NET 8 file upload mechanisms, replacing custom upload attributes with standard interfaces. Swagger schemas now fully support single and multiple file uploads, URL-based uploads, and file uploads across asset, local storage, content, and xFiles APIs.

Marketplace

  • Initial research and groundwork have been completed for introducing an AI agent backend to the Marketplace, exploring architecture and integration approaches for future intelligent features
  • Outdated and unused features have been removed from the Marketplace module to reduce complexity, improve maintainability, and streamline the overall functionality.
